The drawings of Héctor Prats are mostly rendered in small format, attempting to escape from grandiloquent effects, and made patiently with graphite, accumulating lines and textures, layer over layer, as a geological sedimentation process. This working process, nourished principally by the endless stream of internet images, together with a representation code linked to natural sciences, place these works in a position of precarious equilibrium among the current context of fleeting images and excess of information, and an attitude of deliberate anachronism.
